Follow the below steps to perform the Message Service from Orchestrator Studio  

Example :  Using Orchestration we are going to run R0006P and send the UBE output to mail address via Message Service request  

Steps to create the Message Request  

1. Login into Orchestrator Studio  
2. Click on Messages  

3. Enter the Name and Description as per your requirement  

4. Select the To Option as “Email Address” then enter your email address  

5. Enter the Subject and Body message of the mail as per your requirement, here we are going to map the Enterprise Server System date as submit Date. For that we defined the below variable  

${System Date} 

6. Expand the Attachments Section then click on Add and enter the below value 

• Linux Text     : R0006-|XJDE0001 
• Job Number : ${Job Number} 
• Server           : ${Batch Server} 

7. Save the Message Service Request  

Steps to create the Orchestration  

1. Login into Orchestrator Studio  
2. Click on Orchestrations  

3. Click on New Button then Enter the Orchestration Name and Description  

4. Click on + Sign in the Design  

5. Select Report Service ( which we created on Report Service )  

6. Select the Report Service request which we created on the previous step  

7. Now Click on End then Click on Transformation option to define the Orchestration Output  

8. Select the Output which you want then Save the Orchestration  

9. Now Click then add button  

10. Select the Report Service request which we created on the previous step  

11. Now Click on MSG_R0006P –> Transformations to map the input values  

12. Map the input value as shown below  

13. Click on Save button to Save the Orchestration  

14. Now we can run the orchestration from Orchestrator Studio –> Click on Run  

15. Click on Run  

16. Report submitted successfully by Orchestration. Now you can scheduled to run this orchestration at anytime  

17. You can see the UBE output has been sent to mail address

Now you can execute a BSFN directly using Orchestration!!!  

Follow the below steps to call or execute the BSFN using Orchestration  

1. Create a Custom Service Request  
2. Create an Orchestration  
3. Test the Orchestration  

Example : Here we are going to get the Address Number values by calling the BSFN B54SH000 – GetAddressFromAddressBook 

BSFN Value In – mnAddressNumber  

BSFN Value Out – mnAddressNumber,szAddressLine1,2,3,4,szCity …etc  

Step 1 : Create a Custom Service Request  

Follow the below steps to create a Custom Service Request to execute the BSFN B54SH000 

1. Login into Orchestrator Studio  
2. Click on Custom Request  

3. Click on New –> Business Function  

4. Enter the Name and Description as per your requirement  

5. Now enter the BSFN Object Name then select the Function Name –> Get Address Information from Address Book   

6. Here we are passing the input as mnAddressNumber and getting the Address information as per your requirement. Here we are selecting for all the available output from the BSFN  

7. Save the Service Request  

Step 2 : Create a Orchestration 

Follow the below steps to create the orchestration to call the service request which we created in the previous step  

1. Login into Orchestrator Studio  
2. Click on Orchestration  

3. Click on New  

4. Enter the Orchestration Name and Description as per the request  

5. Click on + Sign then click on custom request  

6. Select the service request which we created on the previous request  

7. Click on the Custom Request below option to map the input value of the custom service request  

8. Click on Add Inputs to Orchestration 

9. Map the mnAddressNumber input value with Orchestration Inputs –> mnAddressNumber  

10. Save the Orchestration  

Step 3 : Test the Orchestration  

Follow the below steps to test the orchestration which we created on the previous step 

1. Login into Orchestrator Studio  
2. Click on Orchestration  
3. Select the “ORCH_Execute_B54HS000” 
4. Click on Play button –> Run Orchestration as shown in the below screenshot  

5. Enter the input as “1” then hit run button  

6. Orchestration execute the BSFN successfully and retrieved the below JSON Output
